Another slew of clips promoting new releases have dropped into my inbox this week, so here they are for your delight and delectation.

First of all, the great Ian McKellen stars as Sherlock Holmes in Mr Holmes. The trailer doesn’t give much away but it does whet your appetite nicely.

Next, McKellen’s Lord of the Rings co-star Cate Blanchett turns wicked in a new clip from the live-action Cinderella.
