At LFF today (day twelve)

And so the 59th BFI London Film Festival draws to a close for another year. Tonight sees the final big red carpet gala screening with Steve Jobs, but has LFF saved the best for last?

While that remains to be seen (and I shall be seeing it is morning) LFF will be closing with a celeb-heavy red carpet.

Stars Michael Fassbender, Kate Winslet, Jeff Daniels, Michael Stuhlbarg and Katherine Waterston are all expected to attend tonight’s premiere as are director Danny Boyle and screenwriter Aaron Sorkin.

Overall, I’d say it’s been a pretty good LFF – I’ve seen film’s that have both entertained and challenged me which I think are the best kind of movies.

Now I start to look forward to 2016 and what the Festival’s 60th anniversary has in store.
