Lin-Manuel Miranda’s musical to get London premiere

21 Chump Street, a musical written by Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, will have its European premiere in London in October.

The production will be part of this year’s From Page to Stage festival at the Tristan Bates Theatre.

21 Chump Street is a 14-minute musical based on the radio series This American Life. It follows the tale of a high school student who goes to great lengths to obtain marijuana to win the heart of an exchange student, only to find she is an undercover cop.

You can find out more about From Page to Stage at the theatre’s website.
