Steve Carell and Emma Stone star as real life tennis players Bobby Riggs and Billie Jean King who played one another in a special tennis match in 1973.
Riggs, who was 55 at the time and retired, said he could beat any female player, and King, who was 30 and on her way to becoming one of the sport’s most enduring icons, agreed to take on the former world’s No. 1 in a five-set match.
The film is out later this year in the US and I’m really looking forward to it.
