At LFF 2018 – day eight

The Scots head to London, two 1980s musical icons hit the red carpet and the BFI London Film Festival moves to Manchester today.

Today’s big London premiere is Outlaw King, David Mackenzie’s tale of Robert the Bruce. Star Chris Pine is tbc, but Aaron Taylor Johnson and Billy Hawle are expected.

Matt and Luke Goss, best known as 1980s heartthrobs Bros, are expected at the screening of documentary After the Screaming Stops.

Jessica Hynes attends the world premiere of her directorial debut, The Fight.

And LFF heads to Manchester for the premiere of Mike Leigh’s latest film, Peterloo.

It’s something of an eclectic day.
