Netflix is following the BBC and adapting one of Agatha Christie’s stories for the screen.

Former Doctor Who showrunner is executive producing The Seven Dials Mystery for the streamer.

It will star Martin Freeman, Helena Bonham Carter and recent BAFTA Rising Star winner Mia McKenna-Bruce.

Set in an English country house in 1925, the action takes place during a house party when a practical joke appears to have gone horribly, murderously wrong. It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths – the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent (McKenna-Bruce) – to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery.
