The big rumour doing the rounds today is that Bryan Cranston could be up for he told of the main villain in Star Trek 3.

Apparently the Breaking Bad star has spoken to studio Paramount after leaks started describing the character as “Bryan Cranston like”.

Personally I find this slightly strange as we were only told a couple of weeks ago that the script is still being written. But I suppose that’s never put studio bosses off casting major roles before.

The new film is expected to begin filming in April.
