Clips of the Week – March 15

I have an absolute plethora of new clips for you this week featuring everyone from George Clooney to to Rihanna to Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson!

Let’s start with The Gunman starring Sean Penn as Jim Terrier who shows no mercy whilst under attack from armed assailants in the Congo.

The film also stars Ray Winstone, Idris Elba, Javier Bardem and Mark Rylance. It’s in UK cinemas on March 20.

One of the films I’m really looking forward to in 2915 is Tomorrowland. It’s directed by Brad Bird who made the last Mission: Impossible and Pixar’s The Incredibles. It’s also a return to the big screen for George Clooney, who’s been away for a while. Disney released the film’s second trailer this week and it looks good!

If you like your films with more action then The Rock’s latest, San Andreas, could be for you. Paul Giamatti, Carla Gugino and Ioan Gruffudd co-star in the film which is set during the aftermath of a huge earthquake in California. Here’s The Rock doing his stuff:

For a complete change of pace, Oscar-nominated The Tale of Princess Kaguya is in cinemas on March 20. The new film from Studio Ghibli features the voices of Darren Criss, Lucy Liu and Chloe Grace Moretz. As always with Studio Ghibli, the animation is gorgeous.

Another big family film heading our way just in time for the school holidays is Home. It’s another animation, this time from DreamWorks, and features the voices of Jim Parsons, Rihanna and Steve Martin. Here’s a clip of Rihanna’s character Tip outwitting Captain Smek. The film is released on March 20.

Finally some new TV to share with you. First, Netflix launches a brand new series called Bloodline on March 20. The show follows a family whose secrets are revealed when the prodigal son returns home. The cast includes Kyle Chandler, Linda Cardellini, Sam Shepard and Sissy Spacek.

Here’s new trailer for Netflix’s take on Daredevil which launches on April 10 – all 13 episodes will be available to stream at once, so great news for binge viewers! British actor Charlie Cox leads the cast.
