Bille Piper and Riz Ahmed have begun shooting new film, City of Tiny Lights.
The cast also includes Cush Jumbo, James Floyd and Roshan Seth and is directed by Pete Travis.
Filming began in London on April 21 and will last for six weeks.
The plot follows Tommy Akhtar, a deadbeat private eye. Tommy walks into his office one morning to find high-class prostitute Melody (Cush Jumbo) seeking his help. She wants him to find her friend and ‘flatmate’, Natasha, last seen meeting a new client at a swanky Mayfair bar. He has little luck tracking down Natasha, but instead finds the dead body of Pakistani businessman, Usman Rana; and, before he knows it, he’s drawn into a sinister, dangerous world of religious fanaticism and political intrigue.
City of Tiny Lights will be released in 2016.
