The first image of Tom Hiddleston as Hank Williams has been released.

The Brit actor is playing the American country music star in new film I Saw The Light which is due for release late 2015/early 2016.

The film also stars Elizabeth Olsen as well as Bradley Whitford.

It follows Williams’ rise to fame and tragic personal life, which ended with his death at age 29 from heart failure after battling alcoholism, prescription drug abuse and back problems.
