Channel 4 has announced its annual Comedy Gala will return in May.

The Gala will take place at London’s O2 on May 6 and broadcast at a later date.

Alan Carr, Kevin Bridges, Michael McIntyre, Russell Kane, Sean Lock, Seann Walsh and Shappi Khorsandi have all been confirmed to take part, with more to be announced.

Tickets go on sale on Friday.
