Actors take to the stage for Letters Live

Benedict Cumberbatch, Ian McKellen, Dominic West, Gillian Anderson, Olivia Colman and Jude Law are just some of the actors taking part in Letters Live next month.

They’ll be joined at the event by Caitlin Moran, Geoffrey Palmer, Hanif Kureishi, Jarvis Cocker, John Bishop, Juliet Stevenson, Lemn Sissay, Louise Brealey, Mariella Frostrup, Matt Berry, Meera Syal, Nitin Sawhney, Omid Djalili, Riz Ahmed, Russell Brand, Sanjeev Bhaskar, Toby Jones and Tom Odell.

Peter Capaldi, Bob Geldof, Jimmy Carr, Shappi Khorsandi, Maureen Lipman and David Nicholls have also been confirmed to take part.

The annual event is inspired by Letters of Note, the bestselling anthology compiled by Shaun Usher, and To the Letter by Simon Garfield and is a series of curated, live events that celebrate the enduring power of literary correspondence.

The show’s runs at London’s Freemason’s Hall from 10-15th March but you won’t know who you’ll be seeing until the night of your show.

You can find out more at the official Letters Live website.

I’ve just bought my tickets and I’m very excited!
