Here’s some news I never expected: Stephen Merchant is joining Hugh Jackman in Wolverine 3.

No details on his character, I don’t imagine it’ll be a superhero – although it could be one who’s really funny…

The cast for Wolverine 3 is shaping up to be really interesting. Richard E Grant has signed on plus Patrick Stewart will return as Professor X. Boyd Holbrook is already on board to play the film’s main villain.

Filming must be starting pretty soon as it’s due for release next March.
