Michael Fassbender will help kick off this year’s Toronto International Film Festival which a special discussion about his career.

The even takes place on September 7, the night before TIFF officially begins.

This year’s line-up hasn’t been officially announced but if Fassbender’s in town in make sense that his new film The Light Between Oceans will screen. Could it be the opening film?

Tickets for the Fassbender aren’t cheap and the general public sale doesn’t begin until July 27 but you can find out more at the event’s official website.
