Dominic Cooper is taking a break from filming Preacher to tread the boards once again later this month.

Cooper plays John Wilmot, the second Earl of Rochester and a hedonistic poet and playwright.

The cast also includes Ophelia Lovibond, Mark Hadfield, Jasper Britton, Will Barton, Cornelius Booth, Will Merrick and Richard Teverson.

The production opens at Theatre Royal Bath on August 31 before transferring to Theatre Royal Haymarket where it runs from September 27 to December 3.
