A whole host of actors and performers will once again take part in Letters Live this October.

The event runs from October 4-8 at Freemasons’ Hall in London.

Performers include Gillian Anderson, Matt Berry, Sanjeev Bhaskar, John Bishop, Louise Brealey, Edith Bowman and Jarvis Cocker, Lily Cole, Julian Clary, Jamie Cullum, Sophie Dahl, Simon Day, Omid Djalili, Mariella Frostrup, Toby Jones, Miriam Margolyes, Michael Palin, Nicholas Parsons, Robert Rinder, Colin Salmon and Juliet Stevenson.

October 29 update:

More names have been added including Peter Capaldi and Jude Law! And organisers say there are still more to be confirmed.

The event is inspired by Letters of Note, the bestselling anthology compiled by Shaun Usher, and To the Letter by Simon Garfield and is a series of curated, live events that celebrate the enduring power of literary correspondence.
