Game of Thrones star Kit Harington is set to star in and produce a new BBC drama about Guy Fawkes.
The BBC is lining up a Guy Fawkes-inspired drama produced by and starring Game of Thrones’ Kit Harington.
The three-part thriller is based around the plot of 1605, which saw Fawkes and a group of provincial Catholics attempt to kill King James I and blow up the Houses of Parliament.
According to Broadcast, the series will be made up of three 60-minute episodes.
Harington revealed earlier this year that he is related to Robert Catesby, one of Fawkes’ fellow plotters and that he has been working on a screenplay inspired by the coup.
Harington has previously spoken about his desire to write and produce TV shows.
