Martin Freeman’s new zombie movie Cargo will be released worldwide on Netflix.

The film is from the producers of The Babadook and follows a father (Freeman) who is left stranded in rural Australia and has just 48 hours to find a new home for his baby daughter, after being infected in the wake of a violent pandemic.

The film is the feature directorial debut of Yolanda Ramke and Ben Howling’s nd also stars Anthony Hayes, Susie Porter, Caren Pistorius, David Gulpilil and Simone Landers.

It is the first original Netflix Australian feature.
