You might think the perfect day for Doctor Who Day would be April 15, the day Peter Capaldi and the TARDIS finally return to our screens in the brand new series.

Actually, Doctor Who Day is in September – well according to Titan Comics anyway.

September 2nd has announced as Doctor Who Comics Day.

The global event will focus not just on the Doctor Who comics — which currently includes four different series, each following the adventures of one of the Doctor’s recent regenerations — but there will also be various covers, signings and new merchandise.

This year’s big comic event will focus on a story that sees the Ninth, Tenth, Eleventh, and Twelfth Doctors join forces in an Alpha issue, which will be drawn by Rachael Stott (Twelfth Doctor).

I wish they could do that on screen…I would love to see Tennant and Capaldi’s Doctor’s together.
