A musical based on the classic 80’s comedy 9 to 5 will be on stage in London later this summer.

9 to 5 The Musical is being staged as part of the London Fringe at Upstairs at the Gatehouse, Highgate Village, from 30th August through to 1st October.

The musical is based on the film of the same name and follows three office workers who turn the tables on their sexist boss.

The show’s music and lyrics have been written by none other than Dolly Parton.

The Broadway version of the show received 15 Drama Desk Award nominations and four Tony Award nominations when it ran on Broadway in 2009.
