Jessica Hynes makes her debut as a director with new film The Fight.

Hynes also stars in the film as Tina, a mother trying to deal with her dysfunctional family. Tina takes up boxing as a way to get rid of her anxieties.

The cast also features Shaun Parkes, Rhona Mitra, Christopher Fairbanks, Anita Dobson, Sally Phillips, and includes a cameo from Russell Brand.

It’s just finished production but doesn’t have a distributor yet.
