Joseph Mawle, who played Benjen Stark in Game of Thrones, has joined the cast of Amazon’s Lord of the Rings series.

Mawle joins the previously announced Will Poulter and Markella Kavenagh in the series that’s been in development for quite a while.

Hopefully this means we’re not getting closer to the start of filming, which will take place in New Zealand.

It’s thought Mawle will play the series big baddie, a character named Oren, with Poulter as young hero Beldor and Kavenagh’s Tyra.
