Matt Lucas is turning his charity single Thank You, Baked Potato into a book that will raise funds for his #FeedNHS campaign.

Lucas released a video of his (s)mash hit last month. It is an update to a song he originally performed on Shooting Stars 20 years ago.

The new version encourages people to wash their hands, stay indoors and not to touch their faces.

The song has been viewed over three million times on YouTube, stormed the up the music charts and Lucas has used it to help raise money for the #FeedNHS campaign he set up with actors Damian Lewis and Helen McCory, and Leon c.e.o John Vincent to provide free meals to NHS staff. The fundraising page for the campaign has earned almost £770,000 to date.

The book is set to be released on 4th May.
