Outlander’s Sam Heughan and Graham McTavish have signed a deal to turn their road trip around Scotland into a book.

The pair are already working on a TV series, Men in Kilts: A Road Trip, exploring and celebrating Scottish culture.

Now they have signed the deal for the book about the trip, which Heughan said was “fuelled by copious amounts of whisky. We reveal the history and culture, our personal lives, Acting, friendship and everything in between!”

According to the publishers, the book is “confessional diary meets historical exploration, with hair-raising adventures.”

Clanlands: Whisky, Warfare and a Scottish Adventure Like No Other will be published in the UK on 5th November.
