An opera based on Margaret Atwood’s The Handmaid’s Tale will be back on stage in London next year.
The production will be staged at the Coliseum by the English National Opera.
It will be a new production of Paul Ruders’ adaptation of the novel.
The cast includes Kate Lindsey (Offred), John Findon (Luke), Susan Bickley (Offred’s Mother), Emma Bell (Aunt Lydia), Pumeza Matshikiza (Moira), Rhian Lois (Janine/Offwaren), Raehann Bryce-Davis (Serena Joy), Madeleine Shaw (Rita), Solomon Howard (The Commander), Frederick Ballentine (Nick), Elin Pritchard (Ofglen), Alan Oke (The Doctor).
The Handmaid’s Tale will will play from 18th February to 1st March 2022.
