Timothee Chalamet looks set to play Willy Wonka in a new film about Roald Dahl’s iconic character.
Wonka will focus on a young Willy and his adventures before he opened his chocolate factory.
The film is being directed by Paul King, who made the first two Paddington films – so it should be in good hands. King is also writing the script with Simon Farnaby, who also worked on Paddington.
According to Deadline, the film will feature songs and dancing, something we haven’t really seen Chalamet do on screen before.
Filming is expected to take place in the UK later this year.
