A new spin-off TV series will shoot at the new Shinfield Studios near Reading from November.

The Acolyte will star Amandla Stenberg, whose previous credits include The Hunger Games.

The show is described as being a mystery-thriller set in the last days of the High Republic era. 

It is being overseen by writer/exec producer/showrunner Leslye Headland, who earlier this year said: The way I would explain the High Republic, and specifically where my show takes place, is that I’m about 100 years before The Phantom Menace. So, a lot of those characters haven’t even been born yet.”
