It’s awards-winners-tastic at LFF today as Olivia Colman, Colin Firth, Sam Mendes, Rooney Mara and Claire Foy hit the festival.

Colman and Firth join director Mendes at the European premiere of their film, Empire of Light. They’ll be joined on the red carpet at the Royal Festival Hall by co-stars Michael Ward, Tanya Moodie, Toby Jones, Crystal Clarke, Hannah Onslow and Tom Brooke.

Ray Winstone is due at the special presentation of the restored Nil By Mouth at the BFI Southbank.

And, Mara and Foy join director Sarah Polley at the gala screening of their drama, Women Talking.
