Oscar-winning writer/director Jordan Peele is curating an anthology of horror stories that will be published in time for Halloween.

Out There Screaming: An Anthology of New Black Horror explores both the terrors of the supernatural and the chilling reality of injustice that haunts the United States.

According to the publishers, the book features an introduction by Peele and an all-star roster of beloved writers and new voices.

They describe it as “is “a master class in horror, and—like his spine-chilling films—its stories prey on everything we think we know about our world . . . and redefine what it means to be afraid.”

Out There Screaming will be published on October 3rd.
