Dead Man’s Shoes returns to UK cinemas

Shane Meadows’ modern classic Dead Man’s Shoes will return to UK cinema screens next month.

The film, which stars Paddy Considine and Toby Kebbell, will screen nationwide, including some 35mm prints.

The story follows Richard (Considine), who has always protected his little brother Anthony (Kebbell).

When Richard leaves the rural village where they have grown up, to join the army, Anthony is taken in by Sonny (Gary Stretch), a controlling and vicious local drug dealer, and his gang of lads. Anthony becomes the gang’s pet and plaything, as they initiate him into their sordid worldly ways. Seven years later Richard returns for revenge.

Dead Man’s Shoes will be released on 15th September.
