RuPaul has announced he will publish his memoir next spring.

The House of Hidden Meanings will be released on March 4th.

“After two and a half years, it’s finally here: My memoir,” he said. “I’m so excited and so anxious at the same time, because I really reveal so much of myself. You know, this world today. It feels so hostile and such a scary place to be vulnerable in. But I did it, so get ready.”

The book is described by its publisher as a “self-portrait of the international drag superstar and pop culture icon, that will trace RuPaul’s experiences growing up as a Black, poor and queer person who discovers the power of performance, alongside found family and self-acceptance”.
