The UK release date for the latest film from Studio Ghibli has been announced.

The Boy and The Heron will debut in cinemas on Tuesday 26th December.

The film is Hayao Miyazaki’s return to filmmaking after a ten year hiatus.

It follows a young boy named Mahito. Yearning for his mother, he ventures into a world shared by the living and the dead. There death comes to an end, and life finds a new beginning.
