]The BBC has confirmed the second season of its hit The Traitors will begin on BBC One on Wednesday 3 January from 9pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.

Episodes 2 and 3 will be available on iPlayer immediately after.

The show will air on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday nights.

Claudia Winkleman returns as host, with 22 new contestants heading to the Traitors’ base of a castle in the Scottish Highlands.
