Two separate productions of Oedipus have been announced for the London stage.

Mark Strong and Lesley Manville are starring in one production, and Rami Malek and Indira Varma will lead the other.

Strong and Manville’s production will be at Wyndham’s Theatre from October. Their version has been adapted by Rober Icke.

Malek and Varma will tread the boards in Ella Hickson’s version at the Old Vic in 2025. Official dates haven’t yet been announced.
