The BBC has released the first-look images from the return of The Responder, ahead of its launch on BBC One and BBC iPlayer later this year.

Martin Freeman returns alongside Adelayo Adedayo, MyAnna Buring, and Warren Brown.

They are joined in season two by Adam Nagaitis, Bernard Hill and Ian Puleston-Davies.

The first season of The Responder followed Chris, played by Freeman, as he tackles a series of night shifts on the streets of Liverpool.
