BBC confirms the return of The Night Manager

After years of speculation, the BBC has confirmed Tom Hiddleston is to star in another season of The Night Manager.

BBC content boss Charlotte Moore said: “After years of fervent speculation I’m incredibly excited to confirm that The Night Manager is returning to the BBC for two more series.”

Tom Hiddleston will once again star as Jonathan Pine, with the second season picking up eight years after the events of season one.

It’s not known if Hugh Laurie will be back as Richard Roper, but he is one of the show’s executive producers.

The show will be broadcast in the UK on the BBC, with Amazon holding the rights to the rest of the world.

Filming is expected to begin later this year.
