Johannes Radebe is putting on his Kinky Boots

Strictly Come Dancing professional Johannes Radebe will join the cast of stage musical Kinky Boots when it tours the UK in 2025.

He will play Lola, a drag queen whose sparkle and unsteady heels might just hold the answer to saving a failing shoe factory.

The tour is being produced by Curve and ROYO. Curve’s chief executive Chris Stafford and artistic director Nikolai Foster said: “We all know Johannes for his extraordinary artistry on the dance floor, but seeing him inhabit the astonishing world of Lola in Harvey Fierstein and Cyndi Lauper’s proud, punchy and passionate Kinky Boots has been an electrifying and profoundly moving experience.”

The show’s UK tour will begin at Leicester’s Curve on 17th January 2025 and end at Oxford New Theatre in July. More details are available here.
