The cast for the film adaptation of Richard Osman’s The Thursday Murder Club could include two Oscar winners and a former Bond according to reports.

According to Variety, Helen Mirren, Pierce Brosnan and Ben Kingsley are all being eyed for the film, which will be directed by Chris Columbus.

The book tells the story of four septuagenarian friends who live in a retirement community and solve cold cases for fun. When a shady property developer is found dead, the four find themselves in the middle of their first live crime.
