Sigourney Weaver is reportedly in talks to join the new Star Wars film, The Mandalorian & Grogu.

The are no details about her role or the plot of the film, which is being directed by Jon Favreau.

Weaver has previously starred in space adventures Alien, Avatar and Galaxy Quest.

The Mandalorian & Grogu is due to be released in cinemas in May 2026.
