Giancarlo Esposito, best known for his roles in Breaking Bad and The Mandalorian, has joined the cast of the new Captain America film.

The film is currently undergoing a series of reshoots, with Esposito reportedly joining in an undisclosed “villainous” role.

Captain America: Brave New World stars Anthony Mackie as Sam Wilson takes up the mantle of Captain America.

The cast also includes Harrison Ford, Liv Tyler, Tim Blake Nelson, Danny Ramirez and Rosa Salazar.

The film is due to be released in February 2025.
