Disney is moving forward with a sequel to 2006’s The Devil Wears Prada.
The studio is in talks with Aline Brosh McKenna, who wrote the first film, to pen the sequel.
According to reports, the storyline follows Miranda Priestly (Meryl Streep) as she navigates her career amid the decline of traditional magazine publishing and faces off against Emily Blunt’s character, now a high-powered executive for a luxury group with advertising dollars that Priestly desperately needs.
No word on whether Anne Hathaway’s Andy will return for the film.
