EGOT winner Viola Davis is now turning her hand to fiction writing after announcing a new project with bestselling author James Patterson.

The pair are working together on an untitled book about a dynamic and brilliant female judge on the brink of a decision with seismic repercussions for her small county, and potentially the whole of the United States.

It is expected to be released in 2025 or 2026.
