Sigourney Weaver to make West End debut

Sigourney Weaver will appear on the London stage for the first time in a new production of The Tempest, which opens in December.

The production is part of a new season of Shakespeare’s plays at Theatre Royal, Drury Lane. Weaver will play Prospero.

The season, which is being produced by the Jamie Lloyd Co. also includes Much Ado About Nothing, starring Tom Hiddleston and Hayley Atwell.

The Tempest will be on stage from 7th December to 1st February 2025; followed by Much Ado About Nothing from 10 February 2025 to 5 April 2025.

Tickets go on general sale for both productions on 7th August.
