Former England men’s football manager Sven-Göran Eriksson will publish his memoir later this year.
The book, titled A Beautiful Game, promises to shed new light on the former England boss, charting his breakthrough at Swedish football club IFK Göteborg to his successes in Portugal and Italy and his time managing the England men’s national team.
It will feature conversations between Eiksson and his friend Bengt Berg which have been compiled and edited to form the book.
“Football has been my life, but it is not all that I am,” said Eriksson. “I hope this book will give readers insight into the person I am behind the scenes and share some of the life wisdom I have gathered along the way.”
