Is Apple getting the squad back together?

Rumours of a fourth season of Ted Lasso have started up again after reports Warner Bros Television, which makes the show, has signed new contracts with Hannah Waddingham (Rebecca), Brett Goldstein (Roy Kent) and Jeremy Swift (Higgins).

All three are members of Equity, the UK’s actors union, and have different deals than the American cast, who are members of SAG-AFTRA.

According to Deadline, the producers will open negotiations with other cast members next.

However, the report suggests Phil Dunster, who plays Jamie Tart, may not be part of the new season as he is already signed up to appear in two other series, Prime Video’s The Devil’s Hour and Apple’s Surface.

Meanwhile, Nick Mohammed, aka Nate, has tweeted “told ya” which probably means he’ll be back.

The report adds that should everything go as planned, filming on season four could begin in early 2025.
