You wait ages for a TV show about boybands, and then in the space of a week, three come along at once.
Following last week’s news from Sky about its Boyzone documentary, and Netflix’s Take That series, the BBC has now announced it will air a new series examining the inside story of boyband mania during the ’90s and ’00s.
The three hour-long episodes promises to tell stories behind the success of some of the UK and Ireland’s most celebrated popstars, who were idolised by millions of pop fans around the world.
The series will feature interviews with the likes of Robbie Williams (Take That), Brian McFadden (Westlife), and members of East 17, Blue, Five, 911 and Damage.
The series will broadcast on BBC Two this autumn.
