Work is apparently underway to make at least one film set in George RR Martin’s Game of Thrones universe.

According to reports, at least one film is in the early stages of development, with producers Warner Bros said to be keen to bring Martin’s stories to the big screen.

No details have emerged about which of Martin’s stories the films might be based on, or whether any of the cast from the HBO series would return.

There was talk of a Jon Snow TV series, but that was reportedly axed earlier this year.
