James Corden and Ruth Jones are writing a book all about their hit comedy, Gavin and Stacey.

Gavin and Stacey: A Story of Love and Friendship will tell the stories behind the TV hit series, including details of how the pair met, conceived the series and its characters, and all the highs and lows of the series.

It will also include exclusive full-colour pictures from the show.

Speaking about the book, the pair said: “We’re so excited to be sharing the story behind the story of Gavin and Stacey. The show has played a huge part in our twenty-five-year friendship and we hope this book will give readers a fresh insight into how it all came about.”

The book is due to be published in October 2025.
