Former Lost actor Naveen Andrews is to take on the role of an iconic Star Trek baddie in a new audio drama.

He will take over from Benedict Cumberbatch and Ricardo Montalban in the role of Khan Noonian Singh in audio drama, Star Trek: Khan.

Andrews will be joined by For All Mankind actress Wrenn Schmidt who has been cast as Lt. Marla McGivers, a former Starfleet historian.

The series will explore the dramatic untold events that unfolded in the desolate world of Ceti Alpha V after Captain Kirk left Khan and his followers stranded there.

Star Trek: Khan will be available for streaming on all major podcast platforms later this year.
