A biography of Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda will be published in September.

Lin-Manuel Miranda: The Education of an Artist is an authorised biography by Daniel Pollack-Pelzner. It will be published on 11th September 2025.  

The book promises to explore how Miranda became one of the preeminent musical storytellers of the 21st century, tracing his path from his childhood to winning multiple Tonys and Grammys for his Broadway hits and Disney songs, including those from films In the Heights and Moana.

The author has been given access to Miranda, as well as his family, friends and collaborators.
